Trying to figure out if a particular movie is a good idea to rent, watch or just skip altogether? With Blockbuster and movie rental stores taking a backseat to online sites such as Netflix there are areas that will be missed. When browsing the Movie Aisle we have all given our two sense on a movie in another customer’s hand if we have seen it, however now with online rental the social feature is removed along with reliable reviews.

Showcasing movies the Internet Movie Database (IMDB.com) allows a viewer to go into a movie and see the actors, actresses, quotes, taglines, trailers and more! IMDB.com is truly one of a kind and is great for movie buffs, movie fanatics or just the occasional movie goer.
With each period in history came a distinct genre of movies. During the early beginnings of the movie documentaries were extremely popular, highlighting the camera and its ability to capture reality on film. Movies were utilized to inspire, educate and entertain for the years to come. Film Noir was among the earlier years of Hollywood, known for it’s dark lighting style, imposing silhouettes, and dangerous leading ladies. Never heard of the genre before?
